Late Kailash Nath Sarma Trust was founded by his son, present Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma to keep the contributions of the visionary, philanthropist, poet, litterateur and lyricist alive. The other members of the trust are Smt Mrinalini Devi, wife of Late Kailash Nath Sarma, his daughter-in-law Mrs Riniki Bhuyan Sharma and his grandson Mr Nandil Sharma.
